• Provide client support on Ethernet, SDH/PDH, Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS networks and Multilink services. • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, Optical Transport Network, DWDM and SDH protection – SNCP & MS-Spring.• Investigate client Quality of Service issues with reference to clients Service Level Agreements.• Raise faults with Telco’s in the UK & all regions across EMEA.• Work Methodically through faults & record all work carried out on the Verizon Ticketing System.• Regularly update the client as to the status of their faulty service.• Support Field Engineers throughout the EMEA region.• Confirm with the client that their service has been restored to the Service Level Agreement.• Deactivate client service due to non-payment of bills.• Experience working on Nortel TN series ADMs, Ciena OME6500, Ericsson OMS800 series ADMs & 4/3/1 DACCS, Marconi ADMs, Tellabs 8600 switches, Fujitsu 9500, Alcatel DACCS, BPX, Anda & Tellabs Media Converters, Cisco ASR/GSR & Juniper MX960/M320 edge routers.• Laptop Operating System – Microsoft version 7, Management Platforms – Unix, Craft Terminals & Netcool
