Support the Sales Team through all aspects of the sales process including administrative tasks within the organization.- Assist in customer relationship management duties, including entering new clients into database, updating activities as they relate to clients and communicating with clients on behalf of sales.- Generate purchase orders; enter product info into ordering database; work in conjunction with other departments to ensure timely delivery of product.- Assist in preparation of proposals, including product research; communicate with technical team to ensure accuracy in recommendations and completion of documents. - Process new client on-boarding requests.- Attend pipeline review meetings with sales team in an effort to better support transactional sales opportunities.- Serve as a liaison between sales and clients; scheduling, and sometimes attending, meetings with the sales team and clients, generate reports relevant to client as requested by sales team.- Process requests from clients for hardware and/or software, e.g. switches, routers, Microsoft Office, PC’s, etc.- Manage vendor incentive programs to ensure the organization is taking advantage of all pricing breaks available.- Maintain the highest customer satisfaction through assisting with answering in-coming calls and making follow-up calls on sales inquiries where needed.- Provide innovation/problem resolution to sales staff that would improve the effectiveness of the team and overall deliverables to the clients.- Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows on behalf of the sales team.- Prepare lists to coordinate marketing efforts; communicate with vendors to ensure monthly objectives are met.- Perform clerical and administrative support duties for sales, including managing software and warranty renewals.
