As an Azure App & Infrastructure TSP I provide Architectural guidance, design and POC/Pilot implementations for Enterprise State and Local Government clients across the United States. Assisting clients with cloud adoption strategy ranges from initial cloud foundation principals and education, through cloud governance models, and implementation/architecture across both the IaaS and PaaS services offered through Microsoft Azure platform. Cross cloud design, feature comparisons, ROI modeling and migration strategies (both on-premises and cloud to cloud) are common client engagements along with long term visioning from a “Lift & Shift” IaaS strategy to a development shift into modern application design leveraging serverless cloud technologies.

As an ATS my role was that of a virtual CTO to 57 state and local government clients helping them understand how Microsoft solutions can assist in reaching their business objectives while maintaining strong ROI’s. Working with the account team and extended teams to provide education, architecture and guidance to client executives and BDM’s on cloud adoption and consumption. Plan and execute engagements with partners and vendors for one to many educational trainings on the latest releases and innovative solutions.

I was promoted to Global IT Architect after serving as IT Architect, North American Region from 2010 to 2012. I joined the company as a consultant through SummitEIS / Crow Wing Power and advanced to IT Infrastructure Manager, North American Region in 2007.In this position, I worked diligently to strengthen the IT infrastructure and oversee the region's servers, networks, operating systems, software, and communications. Consulted with business leaders and stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, and drive innovation throughout the enterprise. Motivated and led 10 team members and managed the $3M budget.Select milestones:► INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN & OPTIMIZATION: Created and supported a secure and highly available infrastructure across all networks, servers, PCs, operating systems, software, and phone systems. I was recruited to launch a new company, a cloud-based application service provider (ASP), from the ground up. In this capacity, I pioneered and led all start-up operations including hiring and training the original team, budgeting, purchasing IT and communications systems, and daily technology management.
