As an R&D Engineer at Avium, a startup company that develops and manufactures hydrogen production systems, I applied my chemical engineering skills and knowledge to design, test, and optimize novel electrocatalysts and electrodes. I contributed to the filing of a patent for an in-situ electrodeposition method that increased the efficiency and durability of the electrolyzer. I also performed extensive data analysis using Excel and Python. I worked on a project that allowed an electrolyzer system to have its data logged and system parameters set. This ignited my passion for data analytics, especially in the contexts of engineering data.I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. During my studies, I gained valuable experience as a Mathematics Tutor and Instructor at the Kansas Algebra Program, where I enhanced my communication and presentation skills by teaching and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds and levels.I am passionate about electrochemistry and its applications for clean energy and sustainability, as well as data management and analysis. I am eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with other professionals and experts. I am looking for opportunities to further develop my career as an engineer, data scientist, and creative problem solver, and to create innovative and impactful solutions for the world's energy challenges.
