Responsible for;• Ensuring all maintenance activity and PPM schedules are planned and managed within budget and safety standards across aged care and retirement living homes in Victoria and South Australia• All mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services across above sites• Verifying Essential Services are maintained as per appropriate legislation and associated service contracts• All OH&S issues around facilities works including management of contractors • Project manager for minor capital works including tender development and building and planning permit acquisition• Budget planning and reporting for all OPEX and CAPEX

Key Responsibilities• Maintenance of 41,000m2 of built space (approximately 40 separate buildings) and grounds on 40 ha of land spread over sites in metropolitan Melbourne • All mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services across above sites• All Essential Services and associated maintenance contracts• Lifts and other access and egress controls• Liaison with neighbors, council and other authorities as required• Leading a team of 18 building and grounds maintenance staff across the sites• All OH&S issues around facilities works including management of contractors • Introduction and ongoing use of Computerised Management Maintenance System (CMMS)• Part of project team for all capital works from design development stage to end of defect liability period (up to $32M)• Project manager for smaller builds ($600K largest to date) including tender development and building and planning permit acquisition• Management of security and cleaning contracts• Budget planning and reporting for all OPEX and CAPEX • Working in close conjunction with IT team to maintain data and communications systems

Key Responsibilities• Maintenance of a combination of historically significant and more modern buildings as well as upkeep and improvement of grounds and landscaped areas• All mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services• Liaising with council and other stakeholders with regards to the after-hours use of school facilities.• Leading a small team• All OH&S issues around facilities works including management of contractors• Part of project team for all capital works
