Club 29 is a monthly LGBTQIA+ Cribbage club. Almost two years ago I created this space for the Queer community to come together for the love of Cribbage. Alongside my own productions I have been a front of house manager for an annual weekend long festival at The Triple Door, the stage manager for a monthly show at a Capitol Hill establishment, and during lockdown "screen managed" multiple nation wide productions one of which was for the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Vegas.All of these various roles demand thorough communication, detailed project management, and effort! Responsibilities included keeping the building up to code with maintenance, inspections and tests as well as keeping the financial health of the building in check with collected payments, invoices, and dues.

Vi Hilbert Hall is a newly built large student housing facilities for Seattle University. The ten story building has a mix of studios, one beds, two beds, and quads. Throughout the first six months of operations I coordinated with all sub contractors and the construction company to handle a myriad warranty items while making resident satisfaction a priority. As a student housing property, lease-up for the fall took place early this year, being 99% leased before the end of the school year for September. With 303 beds/residents, a staff of two, two floors of SU office space, and a lot of moving pieces this was a challenging but equally rewarding property/project to be a part of. Show less

This building combines an historic house on the North West corner of the property and a brand new building that will house up to 147 residents. I assisted in both high school and middle school English classes. While assisting the regular, full time teachers I also created lesson plans that were relevant to students and reflected my own background. The goal was to impart not only knowledge of the English language but pieces of American culture as well. Lesson plans were used and referenced my experience growing up in Seattle and stand out features from the area.

Working to help make the Finance Department move in a paperless direction and obtain an even greater handle on resource management. Created and processed the monthly payroll for over 750 employees with leave, benefits and multiple sets of contracts. Oversaw student workers projects and workload on a daily basis.

Brainstormed, planned and implemented events ranging from small groups to full campus events. I oversaw the all campus Christmas party for over 3,000 people with a $14,000 budget. Over all we planned 20+ events that served more students than any previous year.

This job grew and grew over the four years so finally encompass aiding Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Budget Management. Some responsibilities included inputting contracts, deductions and other miscellaneous documentation into our data network. I also reinvented department filing systems to make sure that we were more efficient.

Lived on a floor of 20 male, college students and enforced institutional rules. I planned educational events that were relevant to the needs of the guys and planned entertainment events to further floor bonding. I dealt with problems involving noise, alcohol, smoking, fights and more.

Helped create the foundation of their social media platform that included Twitter and LinkedIn with a plan to create a blog and Facebook page as well. I assisted in finding a web design firm and reviewing the site in progress. Other duties included competitor analysis and staying up to date in the newest industry news.
