Aid in commissioning and start-up of phase 2B SAGD plant. Process plant operator. Perform walkdowns, Winstets, pump run ups, airblows, etc.

Control room operator for Secondary Upgrading. Operate DCS panel for the Naphtha and Gasoil hydro-treaters. Each contains a furnace, reactor, Multi-stage steam turbine driven Hydrogen compressor, multi-stage charge pump, Scrubber contactor, as well as exchangers, distillation towers and receiver vessels. As well as operating the equipment I also aided in the commissioning and start up of these units. Performing air blows , steam blows, walkdowns and generating punchlists. Utilizing P&IDs, PFDs, Visio , Smartplant, Permitting and lockout.

Operated a 40,000 lb/hr hogfuel boiler, two 120,000 lb/hr oil fired boilers ( light and heavy oil), and a 60,000 lb/hr tri-fuel fired boiler ( light oil, heavy oil, and Natural gas) and their accompanying equipment.

Power Engineer Duties : Operating and maintaining four kilns and a 130 HP . Fire tube / water tube boiler . Maintenance / Millright Duties : performing preventive maintenance on sawmill equipment , curvesaws , trimsaws , chippers , etc

PRODUCTION MANAGER DUTIES : Scheduling production , shift scheduling , hiring mill staff , supervision of plant operations , weekly production reports at management meetings , purchasing of raw ingredients , training of new employees . SUPERVISOR / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR / POWER ENGINEER DUTIES : Operated boiler , operated extruder , supervised shift , Performed maintenance to equipment , trained new employees , aided in production planning .
