This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to excellence, as only 285 high schools nationwide secured this certification in the preceding year.Additionally, I proudly serve as the DECA Advisor since 2006, steering students towards developing an entrepreneurial spirit through participation in various competitions, including stock market challenges, simulations, role plays, and written business papers. Led the design of comprehensive summative and formative assessments, classwork, and successfully implemented the Classroom Performance System (CPS) across Business Technology, Marketing, and Advanced Marketing classes. In my role, I held a pivotal position overseeing Suntron's (Formerly EFTC) daily banking, investing, and budgeting functions within the Treasury Department. To streamline operations, I created a comprehensive Treasury Department Manual, documenting all treasury processes for enhanced efficiency and clarity.Initiating a successful overnight investing program with Bank of America NA Cayman in Euro-Dollar Time Deposits stands out as a significant accomplishment. This initiative substantially boosted our monthly interest income, reaching $9,783 in September—an impressive 45% increase from August and a remarkable 68% surge from July.I played a key role in optimizing financial structures, closing a long-term debt deal with an investor that resulted in annual savings of $65,000 for the company. Overseeing an Accounts Receivable portfolio of $50 million, I also managed all leasing and annual audit relationships for Suntron (formerly EFTC).Collaborating closely with the Treasurer, CFO, and site Controllers, I actively contributed to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly audit, treasury, and credit reports.Leading a diverse team of over 25 professionals in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, I conducted annual performance reviews and implemented motivational strategies, including initiatives such as Finish Strong, 212°, Fish, and Gung Ho. As the leader overseeing the day-to-day operations of Styling Technology Corp.'s entire credit department, my responsibilities encompassed the comprehensive management of customer Accounts Receivable, Collections, Product Returns, and New Credit, along with Business Development initiatives.I assumed the role of team leader on a task force dedicated to documenting and training on the Oracle database A/R Module. Subsequently, I spearheaded process improvements that resulted in a significant reduction of delinquency rates, successfully bringing them down from 32% to an impressive 17%.Within my capacity, I managed a skilled team of 11 credit analysts in Accounts Receivable, conducting annual performance reviews and implementing motivational strategies. Developed systematic monthly and quarterly reports in Excel which included bad debts, write-offs, A/R analysis and collection results, presented reports to senior management.
