My career in manufacturing started very early in life for me, at 14 years old I began work as a machinist and continued that for over 10 years learning my way around the industry utilizing CNC machinery combined with CAM software to manufacture parts of complex designs and exotic materials. My career as an engineer developed when I gained interest in design software, and other aspects of manufacturing aside from machining that involved automation, additive technologies, and mechanical assembly. I retained my bachelors degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Manufacturing Engineering and then moved into the printed circuit board industry developing manufacturing plans and processes for the military and aerospace industries while utilizing configuration management and documentation control to comply to AS9100 standards. My work now leads me back into a machining atmosphere with mechanical assembly, This broad scope of manufacturing experience has given me the skills to adapt and develop. These experiences involving general metallurgy, material sciences, elastomers, and additive manufacturing allow a diverse and different view of standard or dated processes while keeping efficiency and compliance in mind.
