Liquidity Services Inc., Houston, Texas 1997 - 2017Senior Project ManagerManaged international and regional asset disposition projects for Fortune 500 companies. Served as US-based focal point to ensure accurate item inventories and coordinated with foreign-based Liquidity Services counterparts at the clients’ various international locations or engaged “partner companies” to assist in the project execution. Project sized ranged from $50K up to $25MM. Clients included companies such as, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hewlett Packard Inc., Georgia Pacific, Invista, Koch Industries, BlackBerry, Molex, Phillips 66, Texas Instruments, and Cisco.• Grew an HP project from a one-time event to dispose of less than $100K worth of miscellaneous IT equipment to one of the most important accounts in the company, $3.0MM per year.• Designed a complete asset management / optimization plan for the HP account. Proposed a step by step plan from authorization to sell, through the handling and reporting steps for HP’s 40 US sites. The approach served as a model approach and a reference account for the rest of the company. • Liquidated all Facilities and manufacturing equipment, office equipment, printed circuit board equipment, and remaining inventory, for the shutdown of a 500,000 sq/ft Digital Equipment manufacturing site after its sale to Compaq. Led a team of specialists to inventory, evaluate, sell, and remove all of the contents at the site. This was a turnkey project; we were responsible to leave the facility absolutely empty and clean.

Managed the company’s vehicle fleet.• Led the development and implementation of a Purchasing Department for the company. Worked directly with the Department Heads to determine material needs and specifications and equipment needed for each job.• Reviewed project blueprints and generated materials take offs and bills of materials.• Developed a facilities layout and storage plan for a newly-acquired warehouse and worked with local and regional vendors to establish a cohesive approach to manage the inventory including setting par levels, ensuring material specs, and setting up vendor stored inventory.
