As an Assistant Engineer 1st Class at RNSay, I have been working in a first class power house and related mechanical systems for over 36 years. I am part of a powerhouse team that ensures adequate heating, cooling, and emergency power for nine buildings in the complex, including the Central Powerhouse across from Memorial Provincial Park.My core competencies include operating and maintaining boilers, generators, pumps, valves, and other equipment, as well as monitoring and adjusting the pressure, temperature, and flow of steam and water. I also work with the powerhouse team to deliver quality service and client comfort, while adhering to safety and environmental standards. My mission is to provide reliable and efficient power and energy solutions for RNSay and its customers.
