I have now retired from being a GP partner at Montpelier Health and am open to NED positions that might use my skills acquired since qualification in 1980. I was an RAF and Gurkha medical officer before becoming a partner at Montpelier. GP practices are small businesses and we had up to 80 employees. Other skills and experience came from being a Franchise Medical Officer for the DVLA, being a founder member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society and acting as an Adviser to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Skin. As well as the voluntary work with Pahar Trust, I have also been a Rotarian for 30 years. Many Rotary clubs have been inspired to donate and help with the work, as well as some businesses seeing it as a very rewarding CSR experience with the added bonus of opportunities to team build on site in Nepal.
