Vice PresidentCorporate Banking - Not-for-Profit HealthcareManage the ongoing credit needs and monitor financial performance of 18 large not-for-profit health systems in the mid-west, south-east and north-east, with credit commitments ranging from $25 million to $300 million.Prepare written analysis of proposed credit commitments to both existing and prospective clients. Scope of analysis includes review of company’s historical financial performance, market position, industry analysis, analysis of the corporate and credit structure, covenant sensitivity analysis and recommendations for approval and assignment of internal credit rating.Other responsibilities:* In conjunction with relationship managers, build and maintain an open dialogue with client’s management.* Active participant and sometimes primary presenter of credit packages to US Bank’s credit approvers.* Review legal documents pre- and post-boarding to ensure that final structure is as approved.* Stay abreast of any changes in financial performance or any other events that may change the client’s position, and ensure appropriate and timely internal rating changes when applicable.* Test client’s covenants each testing date to ensure accurate calculation and compliance.* Mentor less seasoned analysts.Additional information:* Aggregate commitments of portfolio is in excess of $1.8 billion.* Client's annual net revenues range from $500 million to $10 billion.* Advised other divisions within the bank with deals that included a Healthcare component.* Received awards for productivity, adaptability and collaboration.* Mentor in a USB sponsored Portfolio Management training program for employees in other business lines that want to move to a Corporate/Commercial Banking Analyst position.
