In line with agreed timings, highlighting any concerns or deviations and developing recovery plans when required.Concepts: Responsible for the generation of modern, functional and aesthetically pleasing concepts for presentation to internal and external clients; through hand sketches, photorealistic renderings, rapid prototypes and block models.Manufacturing: Application of detailed knowledge to the design of injection moulded components, and organising regular design for manufacture and design for assembly reviews throughout the product development cycle.

The Rooflight Company created the original Conservation Rooflight which leads the field as the best product in its marketplace. In the past ten years their product portfolio expanded with a focus on contemporary architecture and interior design, most clearly reflected by the neo Rooflight. Creativity: Designed and developed the neo Rooflight which was launched in 2006, runner up in Grand Designs Awards ecological design category. Active in numerous successful design projects from concept to completion; both existing and new product development briefs.Management: Promoted to position of Design Manager (2007) with four direct reports within a company of 60+ employees; involved in team management whilst remaining active in projects.As part of the Middle Management Team, accountable for agreeing departmental strategic objectives, holding appraisals and other managerial tasks.Manufacturing: Developed knowledge and experience in manufacturing techniques such as sheet metal, extrusion, vacuum forming and composite pultrusion.
