Manager, Deal Desk Operations
CurrentManage the DataBank Deal Desk and its resources to reduce sales cycle time while delivering quotes and contracts with quality. Manage Sales Operations within the Deal Desk and work closely with sales, professional services, and operations leadership to craft streamlined processes to support DataBank’s corporate policies and strategic initiatives.• Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the team developing and delivering contracts and RFPs in support of the Sales organization• Ensure the necessary approvals are obtained, the proper documents have been created, and adherence to internal processes and policies• Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization with visual support of the processes• Develop financial insights from Salesforce data to support revenue forecasting, average deal size and win rates to drive future enhancements across the Sales organization• Work with cross-functional teams to review existing processes, assess where improvements can be made and implementing new processes to support strategic initiatives and company growth• Ensure the use of the appropriate contract templates, partnering with Contract Management and Marketing to ensure all templates has up-to-date language and branding• Work with professional services to build and evaluate the baseline estimate calculations on a regular basis to ensure project profitability• Assist with the development of professional budgetary estimates and Statements of Work, when needed, using company-approved templates for delivery to customers• Work with the National Practice Directors to understand where there are challenges and room for improved communication, additional training, and support for the sales team• Understand Sales compensation plan structure to ensure data captured in the CRM throughout the sales lifecycle is captured and classified appropriately• Perform annual reviews and provide guidance and mentoring to direct reports
