I supported Engineering in Germany, plant in Mexico and the plant in the US. I was able to do this at time when the validation department could not handle the task and eventually, and openly with the OEM, setting up a valid Lab to test full chassis in temp chambers and all fixtures to get and keep the business.

Working with an old school guru engineer who was eager to teach me the full belt-to-seat ABTS engineering calculations for creating all design for the second and third row seat frames. This included foam per the studio, ergonomic design with 3D Manikin and kinematics of the full fold and tumble system of the 01' U222/U223 Navigator.

Started as Raycon Corporation in Ann Arbor, Mi. as Designer working on Tooling for Turbine blades. Eventually Charmilles acquired Raycon and I remained at the plant in Owosso, Mi. My first opportunity to travel abroad resulted in my working a stint in the Geneva, Switzerland Headquarters. There I learned how to put together and commission an EDM machine before designing any new ones. Communication was both in English and French.
