I am a geospatial/environmental analyst with over twenty years of experience as a consultant applying innovative geospatial and remote sensing analysis techniques to support environmental and natural resource assessment and monitoring. I am driven by the desire to connect decision makers with the information they require (not always what they are asking for) and contribute to delivering the best environmental outcomes possible.My experience as a GIS analyst encompasses a wide range of sectors including oil and gas, water, planning, transport, mining and environmental assessment, undertaking spatial data management, predictive habitat modelling, mobile data capture, cartographic production, project management and workflow design as well as reporting and graphic design. Prior to working in the private sector, I gained valuable natural resource management experience early in my career from roles in the Queensland Government.I have specialist environmental/biodiversity offsetting experience both in the GIS analytics of assessing residual impacts against Queensland and Commonwealth biodiversity values, as well as developing offset strategies to achieve no net loss/net gain. I am also currently enrolled in Griffith University studying climate change adaptation, with the ambition of integrating location intelligence with adaptation science to contribute to the development of adaptation strategies to build resilience in socio-ecological systems
