As part of a high performing agile squad I used SQL to pull together relevant data sets to then analyse them further in Excel helping to inform data driven business decisions. Throughout this role I would play my part in owning the full end to end process for customer product migrations at scale. Throughout this role I also taught myself to write and refine code that would ultimately lead to time efficiencies by enabling other team members to move faster with accurate information. Throughout this role I developed important analytical skills through the use of SQL and Excel which then married to business knowledge allowed me to interact with technical teams and translate complex requirements into simple user stories throughout our agile ceremonies, this set me up well to take on the Product Owner role after just 7 months in the Squad. I would navigate through multiple systems resolving queries and providing value to each caller though additional products and services or by cleaning up products no longer required. My first year after University I moved city to Christchurch where I studied theology part time. While doing this I started my own small business building a client base for ukulele, electric bass and guitar. Coming into the new year I made the shift into the IT sector where I began my journey with Spark New Zealand.
