- Establish a high level of service standards and operating policies/procedures for overall systems availability and individual system components.- Provide superior service to internal customers.- Managing the internal infrastructure and desktop support team which includes close interaction with business and division leaders, vendors and suppliers.- Responsible for assigning work items, training and coaching of team members, conducting performance reviews, and holding team members accountable for optimally performing their duties.- Create and maintain documentation and diagrams of office infrastructure, underlying services and systems. - Periodically review appropriateness of technologies used, provide recommendations and drive the implementation of improvements. - Responsible for handling hardware procurement for both the internal and production infrastructure divisions.- Escalate to, and liaise with the Network Engineering team to ensure all network related issues are resolved in a timely manner. - Assist the infrastructure and desktop support team with daily activities where required (i.e. hands-on involvement).- Maintaining optimal operating levels of all Office Infrastructure including: Server Rooms, Generators, Air-Conditioning units, Security systems, Phone and Videoconferencing systems.- Establish and maintain office Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and co-ordinate scheduled testing thereof. - Tight control of infrastructure expenditure and cost effectiveness.- Maintenance of internal development and delivery environments and infrastructure.- Internal IT security and privacy.

Key responsibilities:- Deliver cost effective IT solutions that provide real tangible business benefits to the retail organization.- To ensure the IT infrastructure is stable, available and per formant at all times.- To create, implement, enhance, document and maintain the IT systems and technologies to support the business operations.- Make available full accurate reports and statistics regarding the service, growth and sales.- Implement disaster recovery procedures through daily backups, backup integrity and recovery validation.- Manage and ensure proper tracking of IT assets.- Work out current and future IT needs by consulting with people at all levels about the current work systems and deciding how improvements could be made. - Mentor junior network administrator in leadership and organization roles. - Understand the effect IT systems have on the Brora's profitability within departments and prioritize accordingly. - Analyze the information needs of the Brora LTD and develop technological solutions to satisfy those needs. - Prepare or direct IT policy and plan strategy development. - Direct activities to select and install retail facilities. - Oversee the provision of training for all users. - Direct the integration of IT operations, computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications and data processing. - Work out priorities for systems developments, maintenance and operations.- Control the security and disaster recovery aspects of IT systems. - Provide advice to other senior managers on IT issues and planning.- Liaise with any external IT vendors for the Brora LTD.- Manage Avaya and BT and any other telephony-based systems.- Relational programming. - Create, maintain and refresh databases for development, test and production environments for EPOS, WEB, MAIL ORDER, STOCK and CALL CENTER systems. - Provide after hours on-call support for any IT issues.

Key responsibilities:- Review, maintain and enhance the existing source code for online batch systems.- Review, maintain and enhance master files, such as chargeable master file (e.g. BHF, Nappi etc.) and member master file.- Review, maintain and enhance look up tables, such as commission structures and billing calculation tables.- Analyze new requests and perform impact studies.- Develop and design interfaces, such as pay role, billing interfaces, membership interfaces, client service interfaces and pre-authorization interfaces. - Perform system testing, set standards.- Generate and monitor statistical reports.- Review, maintain and enhance the existing database.- Implement disaster recovery procedures through daily backups, backup integrity and recovery validation.- Manage the network security and performance by ensuring rapid deployment of fixes to network devices in response to newly identified security threats.- Maintain the network operation infrastructure relating to hardware, software and communications.- Daily administration, installations, upgrades, problem resolution, as well as participation in the design, planning and execution of other systems on the network infrastructure to ensure compliance, adherence to standards and proper network integration- Review, maintain and enhance the existing source code for online website.

Key responsibilities:- Document network systems and standard operation procedures.- Ensure network system stability, integrity and reliability through daily administration, troubleshooting, network support and performance tuning.- Manage the network security and performance by ensuring rapid deployment of fixes to network devices in response to newly identified security threats.- Maintain the network operation infrastructure relating to hardware, software and communications.- Daily administration, installations, upgrades, problem resolution, as well as participation in the design, planning and execution of other systems on the network infrastructure to ensure compliance, adherence to standards and proper network integration.- Provide technical support and training to clients.- Daily backups, backup integrity and recovery validation.
