Over the course of my career I have written and produced some of the most watched television shows for the biggest companies in the industry. What are my skills? Obviously, first on the list is writing. Being a writer has made me a creative problem solver. It has made me a collaborator. It has made me a master communicator who is flexible, embraces challenges, and can think on his feet. And, sure, it made me quite the connoisseur of fine snacks.As a showrunner and producer, I am a leader. I have hired, supervised, and mentored staffs of writers. I have overseen every aspect of pre-production, production, and post-production. I have worked closely with creatives, crew members, and executives to execute a vision. I have shepherded multi-million dollar productions from their inception to their delivery, keeping on schedule and on budget. Although I must admit, I did always ensure the budget had ample room for my precious snacks.
