Engaging in the biggest challenge of my career to date by purchasing an existing business. Turning the unit around and improving it's operation from a loss making business to profit within 3 years. This was a particularly difficult undertaking due to many factors that were out of our control. The rewards of having this experience have been personally extremely beneficial and have made me a more rounded individual.

Primarily responsible for operating in a strategic role to identify and launch new operational sites and additionally responsible for store promotion activities and staff recruitment / training. Successfully managed Several small teams averaged 96% on mystery shopper rankings and had 15% growth. Restructured teams, provided training and development – identifying talent and maximising staffing resources to control costs. Taking a leading role in operational delivery and reviewing service levels to ensure adherence with internal processes and procedures. Completing team 1 to 1s to identify training requirements and ensure effective communication of new promotional activity / marketing campaigns.During summer 2016 – successfully took ownership of outside event operational procedures including the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Silverstone – managed 5 separate units. Working in partnership with Senior Management Teams and providing support during new store operational planning and the identification of new sites.Providing accurate and timely reports for management teams. Identifying non-compliance and providing effective solutions. Promoting team work and service excellence at all times.

Moving to a non customer facing environment was a rewarding and challenging experience. Managing a Team receiving calls from the public for help and assistance for a variety of complaints up to emergency services intervention, helped me to develop time management and attention to detail.Focus was on patient care and ensuring all KPI's were met, being part of the management team led me to devise and implement several operational changes which achieved improved efficiency and overall performance of the site.
