It will be 30km-long and will feature nine stations.As a competent professional, I am part of a team managing a project worth a total of $22.5 billion, spread over 3 consortiums. I am working as the construction site superintendent in this project. The project involves working in a densely populated area, facing extreme weather conditions, logistical and cultural difficulties.I work closely with the local stakeholders and government officials in order to ensure projects are completed on time. Additionally, I head progress weekly as well as start-up meetings.Leveraging my expertise, I develop and maintain productive relationships with sub-contractors while providing support to the FAST site personnel. The City Ring includes 17 underground stations withisland platforms, 4 cross-over facilities and 3 construction and ventilation shafts for transporting upto 234,000 passengers on an average work day.My role as site manager is for one of the 17 underground stations called "Poul Henningsens plads".The day to day running of the site involving the mentoring and training of all staff appointed to the station, liaising with the client and local authorities, holding toolbox meetings and ensuring that all HSQE policies are carried through and met to the highest standard on the project to date, the recording of all activities and submission of daily reports to the project senior management, procurement and recording of all materials and subcontractors alike, this station is geologically very challenging with a high water table and very unstable soil conditions adding to make it a very complex situation. Supervising on the Westrandweg project in Amsterdam for Van Hattum&Blankevoort.An extension to the A5 motorway leading into Amsterdam consisting of 11 individual bridges, one of them being the longest land bridge in Netherland 3.3km long, another with the longest pre-fabricated beams spanning 61m, a design and construct project that is very diverse, interesting and challenging.

Placed on various civil projects through out Europe to assist with the management of projects, involvement in planning and methods of construction and the general day to day management of a project.

Supervising on an infrastructure project of eight individual bridge sections on the doubling of the rail system between Utrecht and Amsterdam (VLARK) for 15 months and also assisting with various sections of the doubling of the A2 at s'Hertogenbosch.

Supervision of multiple sections, procurement, planning, methods, team building and day to day running of the civil construction of a third generation nuclear power station in a multi cultural/lingual environment.Working on the reactor, fuel and other auxillary buildings, constructing a concrete batching plant and laboratory.Pouring concrete in temperatures as low as -35 degrees, working with various different nationalities made for an extremely diverse and challenging experience.
