I joined Krommenhoek & Associates in 1974 and worked my way up the ranks from draftsman to job captain to project architect. In 1988 I was promoted to Vice President after becoming a California Licensed Architect. In 1992 I left KMA and went to work for Law/Crandall, Inc., (Law Engineering), and then to Aguirre Corporation, and later Pond Robinson. I returned to KMA in 1998 and served as one of the firm's Principals until August 2015. Currently, I am with CODA Consulting Group assisting clients in the commercial real estate sector to assess the condition of properties, as well as new construction monitoring. In addition to my extensive practice in new construction and renovation projects, I have managed projects involving evaluations of existing buildings and facilities including site features, structure, mechanical systems, roofing, waterproofing, and building materials. I have some knowledge of procedures in hazardous materials including as asbestos, lead-based paint and other issues related to indoor air quality. I have held LEED Accreditation in the past, and I look forward to assisting clients in as many diverse projects as I can participate in.
