Some riders were experienced and many had not ridden a bicycle in a while. I led this group in indoor trainer workouts, weight workouts and many great outdoor rides to learn group riding. We even had two great weekend get-away rides in my hometown of Salem, Oregon.Building these folks onto a team unit was a blast and a special time for me. Several students went on to race bicycles and one became a bike racing official.
