This was an incredibly exciting and evolving role through multiple restructures culminating in leading the Analytics function across the business, stewardship and continuous development of the data warehouse infrastructure, which eventually became one of Telecoms key strategic tools, relied upon for multiple functions way beyond its original intent as a customer marketing database.These included customer product/package/proposition development, Infrastructure investment, Competitive intelligence, Customer targeted marketing and propensity modelling.Amongst the highlights was the revolutionizing and development of innovative calling packages fixed/mobile and text, placement of cell towers, public kiosks, market leading customer growth and retention propositions, and combating competitive activity.

My role at Andersons initially sought to leverage off my overseas experience to develop and grow the foundations and disciplines. My versatility allowed the role to develop to wear numerous hats across Operations, BA and project management.

Initially specialised in extracting and transforming data intelligently to target customer opportunities across a range of businesses. Through demand and success, the role grew to developing a team and the various functions and disciplines required to scale and improve customer targeting by intelligently using data. A highlight was the development and evolution of a large European database which rendered some ongoing and highly successful marketing campaign activity across Europe in the pioneering days of data driven marketing.
