Team lead of 12 assigned instructors: charged with training of 350 squadron members to include skill level upgrade, certification and re-certification of 10K standard forklift, 10K AT forklift, 25K aircraft loader, and 60K aircraft loader and warfighting training skills. Led deployed squadron’s largest flight in operations and administrative issues. Managed 43 personnel in the processing, scheduling and planning of passenger and cargo movements, ensured positive control of all functions related to passenger service and ramp/cargo section’s 25 vehicle material handling fleet worth $9M. Team lead for 25 personnel from 5 AFSCs: managed AGE/MHE fleet worth $5M, coordinated efforts, dispatched personnel and/or equipment, provided heavy motor vehicle operations, and utilized an aircraft load sequence worksheet to move 19K passengers and 11K tons of cargo on 1,000 military and commercal aircraft. Ensured only qualified operators inspected and utilized assigned MHE. Enforced rules and regulations supporting proper use of security and safety equipment. Aerial Port Deployment Control Center chief during Air Wing’s exercise: coordinated with all aerial port agencies for upload/download times, equipment control, manning/equipment requirements and dispatched appropriate equipment and/or personnel. Maintained stringent time frames for uploading and dowloading aircraft and tracking of equipment maintenance and personnel issues. Help prepared squadron in obtaining an “Outstanding” Operational Readiness Inspection rating.

Managed and led administration functions and training of 42 military and 11 civilian personnel ensured 100% compliance with all applicable directives for acceptance of cargo into the DoD airlift system. Commanded flightline operations during AMC Rodeo 2007. Coordinated with base operations, airfield management, Logistics Readiness Squadron and the Aerial Port Squadron on aircraft arrival sequence and parking. Used knowledge and expertise of variety and types of aircraft to dispatch personnel and equipment to the download of 73 international teams and 278K tons of cargo aboard 46 aircraft within 5 hours. Crew chief and heavy motor vehicle operator while leading northern Iraq logistics hub. Uploaded and downloaded 4,052 tons of equipment and supplies on 270 aircraft ISO Iraqi Freedom using vehicles with GVW of more than 32,000 pounds. Launched safety and crash recovery team training program. Incorporated deployed fire department, aircrew, and assigned personnel boosting fire department response personnel by 50%.

Managed 58 personnel in the processing, scheduling and planning of passenger movements, ensured positive control of all functions related to sections passenger and fleet service equipment and 27 vehicle fleet. Team lead for technical skills training of assigned Airman; teaches proper operation of heavy motor vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations, local policies and Air Force instruction with emphasis to avoid injury to passengers and/or damage to vehicles or cargo, enforces/obeys traffic laws, signs and proper seat belt use, proper material handling equipment operations to include gasoline, diesel powered vehicles with a GVW over 32,000 pounds, 25K NGSL, staircase truck, baggage conveyor, 29/45 passenger bus, 10K Standard forklift, 10K All terrain forklift, and 13K All terrain forklift.Directed administrative functions and overall management of 48 additional duty programs to include safety and training. Instructed ANG and AFRC personnel on proper safety/security measures, flightline and vehicle operations, and passenger operations. Trained 16 on passenger service vehicles enhancing their unit’s capabilities and wartime skills.

Managed 61 personnel in planning, directing and executing mission taskings and establishing air terminal operations at bare base locations. Developed and instituted Squadron Operational Risk Management practices: trained unit in new HQ guidance garnering Group’s 5th AMC Distinquished Ground Safety Award.Operator, primary trainer and certifier on special and general-purpose vehicles with GVW of less than and more than 32,000 pounds. Trained/re-certified 47 personnel on 25K, 10K Std, and 10K AT. Eliminated squadron limiting factor and ensured AMCI compliance.Led truck dock element at deployed location; utilized 10K std, 10K AT and 13K AT to on/offload in/outbound trucks to meet aircraft arrivals and/or departures. Followed appropriate safety measures were followed ensuring no damage to equipment or cargo. Aided in securing of cargo and/or equipment on outbound trucks to ensure proper safegaurding and protection of cargo as it went on public roads. Re-ignited flight’s Air Transportation Standardization/Evaluation program. Developed master training plan, updated 55 training records and created core task training folders. Increased training level from 72% to 99% sharpening technical and aerial port operations skills to include flightline and aircraft loading/unloading and heavy motor vehicle operations.
