Manager of Cost and Contract ManagementCurrently manage a team of 3 Cost and Contract Analysts. Our team's role is to manage all of our Vendor Contracts and Direct Cost. We maintain a new inventory system that allows our team to populate contract information and direct cost for all the products we offer.Individual responsibilities include: • Establishing quarterly goals for analysts and creating department initiatives that are in line with company priorities• Working with IT and various departments to ensure new products are added to CMS (Cost Management System) and the data is set up for easy integration with quoting systems and reporting• Developing department processes and training materials to ensure SLAs are met and accuracy is attained on all data management• Testing CMS database changes, enhancements, and updates by providing feedback to the IT Dev team with needs from the Business End User perspective • Conducting 1v1s with analysts on a weekly basis, as well as quarterly reviews, to develop and grow analysts as they learn the role of the Cost and Contract Analyst • Maintaining the CATContracts email distro, which serves as the central destination for all new contracts executed by our Legal Dept• Work with other members of Finance to ensure that the data from CMS can easily be consumed in any Margin Analysis, forecasting, and auditing for Vendor disputesManager of Product PricingManaged a team of 15 product pricing analysts. Our team was responsible for maintaining product inventory, producing customer quotes, auditing existing products and customer accounts for accuracy, as well as researching and implementing price changes. In 2019 our team accounted for approximately $4.7M in Revenue Increases. Individual responsibilities include:• Setting quarterly goals and composing quarterly reviews for individual analysts• Conducting interviews for job candidates• Leading initiatives with other departments/IT to ensure internal systems can support new products offered• Review analyst findings in audits and reports• Create quarterly audits that are worked by the department• Create reports and enhance processes via PowerPivot, SQL, and VBA• Perform Adhoc requests for department heads• Calculate projections and report revenue impacts to department heads• Conduct weekly 1v1s with individual teammates• Lead meetings and project initiatives• Hold department training sessions• Present to department on new systems and products• Field product/pricing inquiries from internal departments
