I am a partner and solicitor-advocate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in London. I defend claims brought against a wide range of professional firms and individuals, including solicitors, accountants, auditors, insolvency practitioners, pension scheme consultants and offshore trustees. I have particular experience in defending complex claims relating to transactions (corporate, commercial, finance and real estate), as well as disputes involving pensions, trusts and tax-related issues. I have extensive experience in defending claims from a pre-action stage through to trial, and of handling litigation in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. I am also frequently involved in resolving disputes by way of mediation and arbitration.I also assist professional advisers who are facing regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings, and have experience of dealing with a range of different regulators and professional bodies in this regard. In addition, I commonly advises insurer clients on a wide variety of policy coverage issues arising under PI, FI and D&O policies, and act on behalf of insurers in the defence of policyholder disputes.
