Tim Simons is owner and founder of Build Coaching, which aims to make workplaces more productive, staff happier and leaders more effective and mindful. He’s also a new New Yorker, having moved from his native Sydney, Australia in 2018.Tim, a qualified executive coach by three reputable organizations, opened Build in 2013, following 15 years managing people and building teams across a variety of industries, including marketing, advertising and telecommunications. Build works with businesses and individuals to plan, develop, measure and grow success, happiness and optimal performance. Build offers business, leadership and executive coaching and a range of staff development programs. The idea behind Build is to help companies build loyalty and pride through people investment, which is essential to retaining staff. Build has served Facebook, MAC Cosmetics, Estée Lauder, Spotify, Australian Olympic Committee and other forward-thinking organizations. Prior to Build, Tim was Consumer Insight, Loyalty & Experience Manager for Sony in Australia. At Sony, Tim became interested in how people excel at work and live their best lives outside work. He took his first coaching program, and something clicked. This is what he was meant to do.Tim has a natural ability to have the tough conversations in a warm and supportive way and has had much success helping clients through periods of change in their personal and professional lives.
