I’m a seasoned medical system technician who bridges the gap from the engineering of these systems to the users who operate them in the service of human health.I’ve worn many hats in my career: System Integration Technician, Field Service, Depot Repair, Technical Support, Production Lead, Repair Lead, and Production Technician. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multi-vendor projects and devices and can anticipate concerns of staff involved, and usually mitigate those issues before they ever come up.Many of these hats were worn concurrently. For example, juggling depot repairs, providing technical support with some field service thrown into the mix; I actually thrive on the mix of tasks, though sometimes stressful. However, in the course of my career, I’ve met patients whose lives’ were improved by my actions. That is a humbling and rewarding experience.Achievements:*I was the Depot Repair Department at Sandhill Scientific. Involved all product lines at varying degrees of evolution.*Sole Field Service/Technical Support in the U.S. for the Echosens FibroScan 502T system for 2+ years, which was based out of France.*Concurrently provided 1st tier IT Support at Sandhill Scientific.*Provided technical support on all product lines at Sandhill Scientific.*Leadership Roles: - Production Lead: ensured monthly shipments of system orders to meet schedule. - Repair Lead: triaged incoming products, directed product repair priorities, trained junior colleagues. - Team Leader: directed 5ea subassembly stations that fed production line.
