My practice includes estate planning, estate administration, tax and business transactions. I represent individuals, professionals, and owners of closely-held businesses and professional corporations and associations, working with them to implement strategies to meet their wealth transfer goals through: Creating wills and trusts for clients to accomplish goals and minimize tax and administrative costs;Representing executors and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts; Advising clients on the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and tax advantaged limited-partnerships for business and corporate entities;Completing real estate transfers in connection with wealth transfer strategies and estate administration;Advising individuals, professionals, and owners of closely-held businesses and professional corporations to develop strategies to meet their wealth transfer goals and protect their assets;Advising clients on a variety of tax related issues throughout all stages of life including: retirement, income tax planning, establishing the best qualified college savings plan, gifts to minors and very young children, and making arrangements for guardianship and health care related matters for the elderly; Drafting and administering of charitable remainder trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, special needs trusts, family limited partnerships, irrevocable life insurance trusts and private foundations;Preparing gift tax, estate tax, fiduciary income tax and inheritance tax returns;Representing clients in Orphans’ Court matters involving the administration of estates and trusts and maintaining accounting records.

Executing terms of and reviewing documents in which PNC Bank is named in a fiduciary capacity; Advising clients on a variety of estate planning issues including tax and charitable gifting strategies and working closely with clients’ attorney to develop and implement estate plan; Working with trust counsel in the preparation of various petitions to go before the Orphans’ Court; Administering trust, estate, guardian, IRA and investment management accounts for over 100 families;Monitoring and assessing the impact of changes in fiduciary law, regulations and policy.

Duties for the Court and her Honor included:Researching relevant state and federal statutes and case law, and writing all opinions that come before the Court, which include: estate, civil, criminal, family law, and juvenile;Holding all pre trial conferences on criminal and civil matters on the Judges docket, which included facilitating negotiations with counsel on plea agreement or settlement in lieu of trial; Maintaining and managing criminal and civil docket.
