As a senior member of the TD Newcrest Management team my responsibilities were to strengthen the relationship between the Business and Technology groups and bridge the technical gap between the two. Key tasks were to help develop technical strategies which the Technology groups could access and provide technical feed back and estimates. My role quickly expanded into a leadership role in the Alternative Execution Group (AEG) to build and manage the Algorithmic Trading and Direct Market Access (DMA) business.
