As a senior member of the TD Newcrest Management team my responsibilities were to strengthen the relationship between the Business and Technology groups and bridge the technical gap between the two. Key tasks were to help develop technical strategies which the Technology groups could access and provide technical feed back and estimates. My role quickly expanded into a leadership role in the Alternative Execution Group (AEG) to build and manage the Algorithmic Trading and Direct Market Access (DMA) business. This included all aspects of sales and marketing for the AEG group.

Responsible for strengthening the relationship with the existing clients ( to mention a few, TD Securities, RBC Capital Markets, CIBC World Markets, National Bank Financial, BMO Capital Markets, Scotia Capital) and building new relationships with potential clients, leading a team of business analysts and client relationship manages focused on increasing trading revenue as well as building new products for the Capital Markets. Key tasks included developing functional and technical non-functional requirements for each new product and presenting to C level management for approval. Also, on a daily basis responsibilities included, revenue tracking by dealer, capacity planning and forecasting, maintaining and developing the TSX trading pricing strategies, and P&L tracking.
