Mobilizing resources to maximize impact locally and around the world.

I led all aspects of operations for the region including community development, financial management, human resources, and business processes for a nonprofit youth organization to ensure complete alignment with the company’s mission, vision and values. As a senior leader, I served on the Divisional Leadership Team in the Greater New York Division participating in the strategic planning, development and team management of key regional programs. Directing nearly 25 staff, over 400 volunteers and a multi-million-dollar budget, I oversaw strategic programs, talent management, community outreach, and strategic partnerships. Called upon to conduct presentations, I functioned as a organization spokesperson at key events, speaking to large and small groups.

In this role, I provided consistent regional leadership, operational management and staff development through a challenging corporate transition. Accountable for a multi-million-dollar budget, I served on the Greater New York Divisional Leadership and Senior Leadership teams driving strategic planning, development and team management across the region with direct supervision of 25 staff, who worked with thousands of students across the region. I drove creativity and energy into the program by acquiring strategic partnerships built via consistent community outreach and building staff engagement resulting in the region’s rapid growth.

In this role, I managed and developed nearly 10 staff and over 100 volunteers in the expansion of the Northeast region. Serving on the New York Metro Regional Leadership Team, I focused on regional growth, community outreach, quality control, health and safety, recruiting and developing top talent, and building strategic alliances. Leading the community development strategy, the team established new programs in school districts, high schools and middle school’s programs across several communities. Moreover, I was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, community events and campaigns.

Recruited to help revive the Northeast territory, I analyzed and restructured the business plan incorporating innovative event planning and community outreach strategy effectively growing brand awareness and community engagement. Leading a team of 10 volunteers, I encouraged and unified the team towards a common goal and provided consistent mentoring and training ultimately leading to area momentum and goal attainment.Transitioned to relaunch a dormant territory, I formulated a strategic marketing plan including a concise getting-started invitation with clear directions. Working closely with local Board members, I established, developed, and maintained key relationships and created direct community outreach programs. Supervising and mentoring a talented team of staff and volunteers, the program grew to be the largest in the Northeast within a 5-year period.

I was recruited into the first-ever Area Director role for Young Life in Wood County where I created, developed and implemented a robust organization with dynamic and lasting impact. In collaboration with Board members, I led 25 volunteers in building and growing programs in 4 school districts.
