Tour Guide at Flipside Adventures Vietnam. My role was to take tourists on tours around northern Vietnam. The majority of tours I took were on motorbikes around the Ha Giang province for 3-4 days. At the hostel back in Hanoi I worked at the desk selling tours to travellers, and also ran the rooftop bar.

I freelanced as a camera assistant and post-production for various creative film companies spanning over 5 years. I took the film work on in between other work commitments. Most of the roles were assisting multiple cameras on film sets, with the odd job as head cameraman with DSLR cameras. The companies I worked for ranged from small creative companies to larger companies such as TVNZ and South Pacific Pictures (Shortland Street). I have experience in video editing for material such as documentaries, music videos and events.

Orange Door® Music Video is a content, service and system provider of entertainment, music video, media and digital signage systems.I worked part time at Orange Door Music Video during University semester breaks in 2012. This included editing captions on international music videos. I returned to Orange Door in 2015 as a contractor in sales and design. This was a short term role working in the USA and Canada on the road. Travelling from the west coast to the east coast, we visited existing customers (bars and restaurants mostly) for training and installation purposes. The role included selling the product to new customers and designing digital marketing images for the customers' display TVs.

While studying at Auckland University, I took on the role of a Projectionist at Bridgeway Cinemas. This job required threading 35mm film with industry standard projectors, and ensuring every film and event ran smoothly. I soon became a Duty Manager so this required juggling both the job as Projectionist and Duty Manager at the same time. Bridgeway Cinemas eventually became completely digital, so I learnt skills based around programming films and advertisements into the system. The Duty Manager role required excellent customer service, managing staff, serving food and alcohol with a liquor licence, and plenty of other tasks.
