 Serve as primary point of contact for the office of Chief Deputy Senate Republican Leader  Represent the Senator at meetings with legislators and legislative staff, agency personnel, municipal officials, constituents, and community groups  Conduct research, and draft all testimony, talking points, press releases, and communications from the Senator .

 Tenure spans two administrations, first appointed by former Mayor Ryan Bingham, re-appointed by sitting Mayor Elinor Carbone Interact with members of a socially and ethnically diverse public and serve as ombudsman for a wide range of constituent needs Work with appropriate municipal staff to find, apply for, and administer grants dealing with a variety.

 Worked directly with residents to resolve problems or concerns. Worked with town Department Heads in order to ensure that issues were being addressed and resolved in a timely manner.  Assisted with the Office of Economic Development in outreach efforts to existing and potential new businesses  Served as liaison from Mayor’s Office to Economic.

 Staff liaison to Government Relations Committee- Assisted in drafting of Chamber Legislative Agenda- Maintained communication with Legislative Delegation as it pertained to Chamber functions & events.  Researched and tracked business related legislation and informed Chamber members of potential impacts that may affect their businesses. Prepared weekly.

Served as Intern in the Office of the Mayor in Torrington, CT, during the Summer months from 2005-2008.
