Over 22 years in New Product Development and Engineering at Thermo King and Honeywell, spanning multiple industries, businesses, geographies (MN and AZ) and functions including aerospace, transportation and building automation in engineering, product marketing and information technology. I've worked in contributor, manager and director roles, exhibiting leadership, competency and integrity throughout. I did this by measuring progress on projects, timely progress reviews, quick corrective actions, standard work, cadenced coordination meetings and team communications. I delivered several "first-evers” to transportation including embedded cellular/Wi-Fi/Zigbee wireless, USB data logger downloads and "over-the-air" automated firmware updates. While at Honeywell, I was especially proud of winning avionics development programs with Airbus, Boeing and Embraer among stiff competition from rivals.
