I would be interested in applying my years of experience and 'street knowledge' in a corporate setting. I find that sometimes real experience is lacking by those who only know the Grocery business from what is read in a book. I am a fast learner, and more importantly, I am CREATIVE....something that cannot be taught, but has to be learned through experience and innate ability. That is what I offer, and that is what I guarantee if offered a position. Now you can read below to get the usual work history, etc etc.....I worked as Account Manager at both Eckrich and John Morrell Company, with primary responsibilities at buyer level with many of the sub groups of Grocer's Supply (Market Basket, Gerlands Deli, etc.). I was responsible for presenting and gaining full authorization of Kretschmar Deli in Market Basket.While at Eckrich, I was the Account Manager for Randall's Supermarket (all items). I was also lead account manager for Deli in the Houston Market for all accounts, including Kroger.I cultivated great relationships with my accounts, and used creative sell sheets and presentations and was always considered very professional among my peers.Sometimes working 'outside the box', I came up with creative solutions in the selling process that benefited both the customer and my company with increased authorizations and sales.In my current position, I handle myself in a professional manner, and have earned the respect of my customers, and am recognized for hard work and problem solving. I continue to utilize my powerpoint and excel skills to make creative sell sheets and Power Points, and work with the team to make us all more effective in the retail environment.
