Managed a major project to migrate a complex, critical server containing key and undocumented financial, security and compliance applications and 7 Tb of data to a modern, resilient infrastructure. This included performance enhancements and conversion of data and reports to Oracle and Crystal Reports. In addition I took on additional projects, including:• Planning and managing the move of 12,000 shops staff to a redeveloped “time and attendance” application, including new infrastructure. This was done with no interruption of service and rolled out to all 110 regions simultaneously.• Upgrade, test and rollout of the key database and operations software in all 5,000 Retail EPOS tills• Switchover of all Chip and Pin machines and associated web applications to an alternate provider.
