Escravos Gas to Liquids Project, NigeriaArea Manager - Tanks and Infrastructure for the $US6 billion Escravos Gas to Liquids Projectin Nigeria. The role includes leadership of the direct team of 25 staff and responsibility for the timecost and quality performance and outcomes for all contractors in the Tanks and Infrastructure Areas.Tanks scope includes construction of the 16 main condensate and liquid tanks including the liquidoxygen tank. Infrastructure includes the construction and maintenance of a camp for 5,000 peopleand supporting services and the projects office accommodation and support facilities. The roleincludes being part of the executive leadership team for the project and having a role in makingstrategic decisions for the project.

The role included the management of a number of major projects and programs for a number of Australian Government departments, NSW State Government and one major Australian bank. Established and provided leadership to a capital works team of over 30 staff and had works of over $350 million at varying stages. Work included a combination of direct management and oversight for the following projects and programs:$A160 million Australian Taxation Office National Headquarters;$A60 million fit-out program for Department of Employment and Workplace Relations$A70 million NSW Police annual capital works budget; $A30 million St George Bank capital works program; and$A30 million other Commonwealth Government clients.

This position was responsible for the delivery of high profile Australian Government projects. The responsibility included management of all aspects of the projects including selection of contracting structure, time, cost and quality performance, stakeholder management and compliance and environmental management. The projects were:$A320 million Christmas Island Immigration Reception and Processing Centre - new facility; $A90 million Commonwealth Law Courts Adelaide - new base build and fit-out;$A75 million ANZAC Park Office - redevelopment project; and $A105 million Villawood Detention Centre - new facility.

with Chevron Niugini Limited on the Kutubu Project in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This role included the management of a fifteen million dollar ($US15M) per annum infrastructure development construction program, managing projects that the Kutubu and Gobe Petroleum Project Joint Venture Partners claimed as tax credits. Responsibilities included developing solutions for logistics and ensuring safety in a remote environment. Projects included:$US30 million Homa Road 40 kilometres including 5 bridges;$US15 million 7 Story Provincial Administration Centre;$US12 million remote health program;$US15 million remote education program.

Consultant on the Gobe Project in Brisbane and Papua New Guinea. In this role I was responsible for establishing a civil and building construction and maintenance company for the Gobe Petroleum Development Project, to be handed to landowners when operational. The construction phase work involved managing camp and civil construction contracts, inclu ding the construction of the initial construction camp and the upgrade of eighty (80) kilometres of road.
