Leadership, technical curiosity, and business acumen have been primary interests of mine for as long as I can remember. As a young person Radio Shack was my favorite store - I loved designing and building solar powered vehicles and other electromechanical devices. Those technical curiosities led me to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. My interest in business also started early, heavily influenced by my grandfather’s encouragement to read about investing and financial statements. That led me to an MBA and starting two successful businesses to put what I learned into practice. As I got into high school, leadership was emerging as a key strength as well. Over time, that leadership skill would be molded into a servant leadership style through my years in Boy Scouts earning Eagle Scout rank and later serving on non-profit boards and an international mission trip.Today as an operationally focused global engineering and product development executive I elevate and lead organizational capability to achieve ambitious performance targets.
