I'm a commercial and bankruptcy litigator licensed in Mississippi and North Carolina, representing financial institutions and other creditors in bankruptcy cases and litigating on their behalf in state and federal courts. I serve on the Board of Directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute and frequently write for the ABI Journal and its committee newsletters. I am also a Co-Chair of the ABI’s Business Reorganization Committee and sit on the Advisory Board for the ABI Southeast Bankruptcy Workshop. My practice also includes appellate litigation in financial-services cases. I’ve briefed and argued appeals in state and federal courts and have represented and advised parties filing amicus briefs. Pro bono work is an important part of my practice. I'm a member of the Pro Bono Appellate Programs for the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits. I also sit on the Pro Bono Committee for the North Carolina Bar Association and serve as a pro bono coordinator at Adams and Reese.
