CurrentIndependent contractor for GPS doing project management work to supply aviation parts to the Honeywell Aviation Group. Primary job is to interface with part suppliers that are behind schedule in their deliveries to Honeywell Aviation and help expedite delivery of critically needed parts. I work with the vendor and the Honeywell team members to help facilitate delivery of those needed parts.I visit the vendor site multiple times a week and review issues that are preventing them from delivering to Honeywell on time and help them determine the best solution.I attend weekly status calls with Honeywell and the vendor and provide a daily status report to Honeywell on any improvements or blocking issues that are occurring. I'm in contact with the vendor's program managers and engineers daily by phone and email to ensure that any issue is addressed immediately.This ensures that the Honeywell Aviation production lines stay on schedule for the Boeing's 777x program.
