I am a highly creative and resourceful individual, respected for my work across business and education. My clients range from global businesses - such as Microsoft and KPMG, to start-ups, scale ups and PE portfolio businesses. I also serve educational establishments and the public sector.The vast majority of my work centres around communication; whether developing stronger face to face interactions, listening, presenting or pitching. I have a clear understanding of how to uncover the strengths of individuals and teams, typically at more senior levels but across all positions. I challenge all those I work with to be a better version of themselves, whether they are a student, Start Up Founder or CEO.In 2006 I started Blue Caterpillar Learning & Development Ltd, and for over 15 years I have developed and delivered training packages for businesses and organisations as well as educational programmes for schools, colleges/universities. I accelerated my exposure within the business scene in 2015 by working as Lead Coach for Amplify Presentations, before later moving on to work as an Associate at GSB Comms.Beyond GSBComms and Blue Caterpillar L&D, I work as a trusted associate of Independent Thinking Ltd, and have previously worked with Speakers Trust and TalkTheTalk.I am deeply committed to being involved in the community in which I live; I have been involved in social action projects across Gloucestershire. Additionally, as Artistic Director of Jacob's Well Productions, I directed musical theatre productions, in my free time, at the Playhouse Theatre in Cheltenham. This drew on my experience and training in theatre and my desire to work creatively with a team. I was also a trustee on the board of Red Dog Theatre Company, in Stroud. Associate CoachGsb Comms Feb 2017 - PresentGSB Comms was founded in 2003 by Richard Garnett and Charlie Simpson. Their reputation for designing and delivering exceptional, bespoke training and coaching programmes is immense. I was thrilled when they invited me to join them, as part of their team. I now deliver communications training as part of GSB, from individual sessions, to coaching on pre-investment tours and Management Presentations as well as bespoke training programmes. Sep 2015 - Feb 2017Amplify Presentations have traditionally worked extensively on the London accelerator scene, with past and current clients including Techstars, Techstars & Barclays, Microsoft, Mass Challenge, Startup Bootcamp and Wayra. As Associate, I was lead coach on the Microsoft Accelerator programme as well as coach for Startup Bootcamp, Kings College, UCL, KPMG, Ignite, Imperial College, Bossa Studios, Northern Stars and Central Research Laboratories. The corporate arm of Amplify delivers corporate innovation, story-telling and leadership coaching programs for FTSE 100 companies, clients including Microsoft, PWC and the Dow Jones. Now the project is established, I no longer train on the programme but I am proud to have been part of the reason for Talk The Talk’s success.
