During his 25 year career in law enforcement, Tim spent time in primary response, traffic, detective operations, corporate communications, academic instructor and as a front line policing supervisor. Tim changed the business model for how law enforcement viewed media relations when he was tasked with taking over a communications office to raise awareness and bring attention to one of the most dynamic areas of law enforcement that was widely overlooked. In three years the Traffic Communications Office saw record high numbers of collisions, injury and death drop to record low numbers in each category.Tim’s focus is built on educating police and law enforcement professionals to use digital and social media programs to establish relationships, build trust and influence positive change in the communities they serve.
