I am an experienced investment professional who has worked in the financial services industry for over thirty years. My experience is in retail client orientated businesses with discretionary fund management. Currently I'm Investment Strategy Director at Verso Investment Management, which is a newly established IFA consolidator business with ambitious plans. Prior to Verso I worked at Rowan Dartington which I joined in 2011 where, as Investment Director, I ran the collective portfolio models and established an ESG model and service, building on work I'd done at my previous company. Today, after 30 years in the industry ESG is now centre stage, where I believe it should be. My current focus is on building Verso’s DFM business and of course integrating ESG and sustainability into the investment business. I have extensive experience researching funds and led fund research at Rowan Dartington. I am also experienced in portfolio construction and management and for many years commented in the press, both national and trade, on funds and related issues - today I occasionally write articles. I have been and remain a long term supporter of initiatives and organisations preserving the natural environment and promoting sustainable development. - Integration of ESG/sustainability into the investment world is something I wholehearted believe in, actively encourage and promote and indeed believe is essential.
