I am currently responsible for the modernization and migration of enterprise level applications from the IBM iSeries platform to the Microsoft.Net Framework. Performing custom .NET application design and development in support of an overall modernization plan. I also support ASNA sales and services by developing proof of concept applications demonstrating the capabilities of the modernization process. Along with development, I present the proof of concept to online groups and in face to face meetings with management. I’m responsible for technical management of migration projects contracted by ASNA professional services, including management of local and offshore development teams.

As an independent contractor I developed enterprise level project management and resource management applications for land surveying companies in the Austin metropolitan area. I also developed web based contract management and scheduling applications for real estate professionals in the San Antonio area. Services included end to end software development life cycle management, requirements, design, architecture, development, testing, deployment and onsite support. Custom application and solution development tailored to the specific business needs of each client.

In this position I was responsible for product development for an independent software vendor providing CRM, billing and order management solutions for the telecommunications industry at a national and international level. My span of responsibility covered several departments including Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Product Support. I directed the product roadmap and worked closely with sales and marketing. I earned progressive promotions and increasing levels of responsibility from Sr. Systems Analyst in 1997 to Chief Software Architect and Vice President of Product Development in 2000

This company was an independent provider of computer related services and custom programming surrounding the IBM AS/400 midrange computing platform. I operated as an IBM Business Partner with a focus on retail chain stores and telecommunication service providers. My scope of responsibility included hands on design and development of custom software solutions, managing and directing staff of programmers and analysts, application deployment and customer support. This company was acquired by Billing Concepts
