About Tim Dixon

I've always been fascinated by international trade and its overlap with business, politics, and law. Currently, I am lucky enough currently to be advising the European Union on trade policy. I started my career in Europe working in international M&A and corporate law for a Magic Circle firm, before starting my own service in international arbitration and advising law firms on specialised transactions. In Australia, I have gained extensive experience at top levels in politics as a chief of staff and senior advisor to government ministers in international trade, economics, finance, mines and energy. This experience was varied: legislative and policy reforms, strategic communications, policy development, stakeholder engagement and campaigns.  I have a graduate diploma in European and WTO trade law from Central European University, as well as bachelor's degrees in arts and laws and a graduate diploma in legal practice from the Australian National University.

Listed skills include International Law, Legal Advice, European Law, Corporate Law, and 24 others.
