Busy educating and enabling Hotels to use the Hotelplanners and Meeting.com platform and fill their properties with customers. In 1997 I started the publication Eyefortravel and exited in 2018. Eyefortravel is a leading B2B publication that tracked and edcuated the industry as to how the traveller buys travel, hospitality and transport. It's goal was to enable the industry to thrive, serve and keep their customers as technology impacted the way travel was bought. We ran events for 1000 senior travel executives a year in the USA Europe, China, Russia, South East Asia and India.I joined FCBI in 1995 and created events in the digital and energy markets. The company grew at incredible rates and alongside creating commercial products I looked after Human Resources and recruited the first 120 people for the company.Prior to that I spent over 3 years in Zimbabwe working as a River Guide on the Zambezi did voluntary work relocating Black Rhinos and was mechanic for a trans African climbing exhibition.After 20 over years of building a business I know how to create products, promote them through sales teams and digital marketing and develop a business and team that works. I have a great deal of specialist knowledge in the online travel industry, travel distribution, revenue management and advising start ups in the travel sector. Most of all I enjoy what I do and really appreciate the travel industry and its wonderful characters.I live in Devon and London have 2 incredible sons and a wonderful wife, love surfing and play football badly.
