Tim Hakamaki joined Physio-Control as Vice President of Sansio and Senior Director, Data Solutions of Physio, following the merger and acquisition of ScanHealth, Inc. dba Sansio in January of 2014. Tim’s current focus is to provide strategic direction and oversee management of product development, training, implementation and professional services for Sansio’s Fire/EMS product lines.Tim joined Physio-Control after sixteen years at Sansio including the past nine years as President, Fire/EMS. Tim’s outstanding leadership abilities led to Sansio’s HealthEMS pre-hospital data, collection, management and reporting solution to evolve into the most widely-used electronic pre-hospital care reporting (ePCR) solution in the United States that includes the nation’s largest EMS systems.Tim graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Tim served as a registered nurse in cardiac intensive care, and is a Nationally Registered EMT and volunteer firefighter.
