• Lead the Container Services and International Solutions Consulting teams consisting of 55 architects, engineers, operational engineers, and contractors focused on Container platforms (VMware Tanzu TAS, Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Red Hat OpenShift, AKS, EKS, ECS, EC2 with Fargate) as well as Solutions Architecture for Fiserv global projects.• Lead a team of platform adoption engineers that work with development teams to ensure they have a successful onboarding process to the various container platforms.• Work closely with the Development Experience product team to design a seamless path to production utilizing various CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Harbor, Wiz, Nexus, and Harness.• Member of VMware Customer Technology Advisory Board focused on Modern Applications. • Work with Fiserv’s Sourcing team on vendor relationships and contract negotiations. • Review and approve software and infrastructure-related purchases and provide input into capital and annual operating plans.

• Managed the Systems and Middleware Architecture team consisting of architects representing Windows, Linux (RHEL, OEL), AIX, Middleware (Kafka, Redis, WebLogic, WebMethods, etc.) and Container platforms (VMware Tanzu TAS, TKGi, and Red Hat OpenShift).• Developed and executed the roadmaps for each platform and managed Systems Engineering teams.• Chaired a monthly architecture council meeting that comprises all Solutions and Platform Architects in the Technology Services division. Scope includes proof of concept reviews, communication of new or changes to existing platform standards, and reference architecture design review.• Member of Oracle’s Customer Technology Advisory Board focused on Oracle Enterprise Linux.• Reviewed and approved infrastructure-related purchases and provided input into capital and annual operating plans.

• Executed Fiserv's cloud strategy as defined by the CTO and CIO, including responsibility for overall services and making sure the infrastructure can support Fiserv's offerings and service levels required. • Managed the team that architected and engineered Fiserv's IaaS/PaaS private cloud environment including the hardware and software. This included Dell FX2 infrastructure, VMware ESXi, vSAN, vRA, vROPS, vRNI, NSX-V, NSX-T, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu Application Service), and Pivotal Container Service (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid).• The IaaS platform reduced the time for engineers to build out servers from sometimes 3 weeks to 30 minutes, significantly decreasing the time to market for Fiserv's BU products. • Fiserv's TAS platform increased stability in some cases more than 10x while reducing the footprint of physical infrastructure needed. • Recruited, hired, and coached a group of both internal and external engineers to support the new PaaS environments. • Presented architectural design concepts and evangelized the activities, successes, and impacts to all levels of the organization.• Led overall architecture standards and coordinated the development and maintenance of platform architecture roadmaps and reference architecture documents.• Chaired a Fiserv enterprise architecture working group consisting of CTOs and Chief Architects from each business unit that provided leadership and guidance regarding technology decisions, reference architecture patterns, and standards acceptance. • Reviewed and approved infrastructure-related purchases and provided input into capital and annual operating plans.
